Winterisation and Fortification
Ensure your hot tub remains protected from the harsh winter elements when not in use with our comprehensive winterisation service. Our skilled technicians will:
- Conduct a thorough inspection of all components to identify any issues. Replace any faulty parts covered by warranty (parts to be replaced when the hot tub is reinstated).
- Provide a detailed report on any worn or defective parts not covered by warranty and agree on the cost of remedial work before proceeding (parts to be replaced when the hot tub is reinstated).
- Carefully clean and treat the cover with a vinyl protector (when the hot tub is reinstated).
- Inspect the cover-lifting device (if applicable).
- Degrease and clean the filters with a high-pressure hose, which will be removed from the spa and given to you for storage in a dry place until the hot tub is reinstated.
- Drain the hot tub and disconnect the bleed lines, heater, circulation pump, and jet jumps (to be reconnected when the hot tub is reinstated).
- Remove any remaining water from both the internal and external parts of the hot tub and ensure they are completely dry.
- Secure any parts that could be affected by freezing water.
- Perform a thorough cleaning (when the hot tub is reinstated) to ensure it’s ready for your enjoyment.
Protect your investment and keep your hot tub in peak condition throughout the winter months with our winterisation service.
(Please be aware – although this advice is based on our extensive experience, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise during the winter season. To safeguard against potential damage from external elements, certain components, including bleed lines, will be disconnected, rendering your hot tub inoperable until it is re-commissioned by a professional. This precaution is taken to mitigate any environmental impact. Re-commissioning your hot tub will require a separate booking and incur additional charges.*)
